Meet Brian Wheeler: A Leader in Global Automotive Marketing

We’re excited to introduce Brian Wheeler, the Head of Marketing Communications and Strategic Intelligence for PPG’s Global Automotive division. With over 15 years of experience in the automotive industry, Brian brings his skills in business development, marketing, communications, and sales. Brian’s career began in journalism, where he worked in local TV, newspapers, and business magazines. This eventually led him to the automotive industry, where he found his passion in marketing and communications. Brian took on leadership roles, managing global marketing for a Michigan-based Tier 1 supplier and growing business for a Detroit marketing agency. Since joining PPG in January 2024, Brian has led marketing, communications, and strategic intelligence for the automotive division. He handles brand strategy, communication, data analytics, and customer relations. Under his leadership, PPG continues to grow and innovate in the industry. Throughout his career, Brian has had successful marketing campaigns in over 25 countries. His expertise in global marketing operations and his strategic approach to brand management have earned him a reputation as a leader in the automotive world.
