Coca-Cola’s Holiday Ads

Since 1995, Coca-Cola every year created an iconic holiday campaign that has signaled the official start of the holiday season. The iconic sound of the jingle and the sides of Coca-Cola trucks are always included in every holiday campaign by Coca-Cola. Many even say they can’t imagine the holiday season without a Coca-Cola holiday campaign. The brand aims to incorporate its authenticity into its campaigns while also featuring compelling storytelling. From year to year, the holiday campaign has adapted to technological changes, especially from 2023 to 2024.

In 2023 Coca Coca-Cola started testing out AI within the holiday campaigns. They didn’t release any AI in a campaign until 2024, which caused some negative feedback. Some thought that this campaign took away from the authenticity and storytelling to unrealistic ideas. Coca-Cola has stated that AI helps them produce faster and cheaper, so as years go on, the company will have a better understanding of how the campaign using AI can keep their storytelling and remain authentic.

In 2025, they doubled down on technology, creating more advanced AI holiday ads. Which looked way clearer in the images compared to the 2024 campaign, but opinions still came off as not supportive to some viewers on authenticity. Coca-Cola embraces the powerful combination of human creativity and the cutting edge of AI technology in its holiday storytelling. While AI tools continue to streamline creative workflows.

As the technology increases every year, Brands like Coca-Cola and their campaigns need to keep up with the evolution as long as they stay on their values. Like Coca-Cola Cola the holiday campaigns need to remain authentic and have their storytelling created at the beginning, continued in their future holiday campaigns!
